Seaport transfers for cruise & ferry passengers
Fixed-price cars to and from Southampton, Dover, Folkestone and other UK ports — with the boot space cruise luggage actually needs, and your ship or sailing details on file for the driver.
What a seaport booking includes
The same pricing, vehicles and vetted drivers as every XlineCars journey, with a port-and-terminal step built into the booking.
To or from the port
Book a car to the terminal for embarkation day, or a pickup for when you disembark. Tell us the terminal and we set that end of the journey for you.
Built for cruise luggage
Cruise and ferry passengers travel heavy. Choose an estate, MPV or minibus and there is room for large cases, wheelchairs and mobility aids.
Cruise or ferry details on file
Add your ship or sailing name and booking reference so the driver knows exactly which terminal and time to plan for.
One fixed price
The full fare is calculated from your route and shown before you book — no port surcharges added later.
Book both legs together
Reserve the trip out and the trip home in one booking and hold a single price for the whole holiday.
Stops along the way
Collect another passenger or make a stop en route — the price adjusts for the reshaped journey.
How it works
- 01
Choose direction and port
Pick whether you are heading to the port or coming from it, then choose the port and terminal from the list of ports we serve.
- 02
Add your address and sailing
Enter the home or hotel address for the other end of the trip, your date and time, and — optionally — your cruise or ferry name and reference.
- 03
Pick a vehicle and confirm
Choose a vehicle with room for your group and luggage, review the fixed price, and confirm. Driver and vehicle details follow before pickup.
Ports we serve
Choose your port and terminal when you book. Southampton is our most frequent run, covering all five cruise terminals.

Port of Folkestone
Harbour transfers and the wider Folkestone seafront.
Port of Harwich
International ferry port and cruise calls at Harwich International.
Port of Hull
North Sea ferry sailings from King George Dock.
Port of Liverpool
Liverpool Cruise Terminal on the waterfront and the Birkenhead ferry berths.
Seaport transfer questions
- Which seaports does XlineCars cover?
- XlineCars runs transfers to and from Southampton, Dover, Folkestone, Harwich, Hull and Liverpool. Southampton is the most frequent run, covering the Ocean, Mayflower, Horizon, QEII and City cruise terminals. Choose the port and terminal when you book.
- Is there enough space for cruise luggage?
- Yes. Tell us how many passengers and cases you have and we only show vehicles that can carry them. For a family or group with multiple large suitcases, choose an MPV or a minibus. There is room for wheelchairs and mobility aids too.
- Should I give my cruise or ferry details?
- It helps but it is optional. Adding the ship or sailing name and your booking reference lets the driver confirm the right terminal and build in time for check-in or disembarkation.
- What pickup time should I choose when I am disembarking?
- Cruise lines give passengers a disembarkation time by luggage group. Use that as your pickup time. If the ship clears early or runs late, contact us and the driver will adjust — arrival transfers are planned with some flexibility.
- Where does the driver meet me at the port?
- For pickups the driver meets you at the terminal's designated taxi or pickup point and will message you on arrival. For drop-offs you are taken to the terminal entrance for your ship or sailing.
- Can I book my transfer to the port and back home together?
- Yes. Choose the return option and enter the return date and time. Both legs are quoted together as one fixed price, which is convenient for matching your sailing dates.
